INVITATION FOR AN APTITUDE TEST/SCREENING AS PART OF THE PROCESS FOR RECRUITMENT INTO THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE
Sequel to your application for recruitment (as a Specialist) into the Nigeria Police Force, I am directed to invite you for an aptitude test/screening exercise scheduled as follows:

A: APTITUDE TEST
Date:              24th August, 2016
Venue:           
Time:              10:00am prompt

B: PHYSICAL/DOCUMENT SCREENING
Date:              31st August, 2016
Venue:           
Time:              8:00am prompt
2.            You are to come to the venue with a printed copy of this letter without failure, as this admits you into the Examination/Screening Halls.
3.            Furthermore, you are to present both the original copies and photocopies of the following:

     i.        Your Duly Completed Guarantor’s Form;

    ii.        State of Origin Certificate;

   iii.        Educational Certificates;

   iv.        Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age;

    v.        One white coloured Office Flat File Jacket;

   vi.        Two Recent Passport Photographs with your name written behind in capital letters.
4.            You are to strictly adhere to the contents of this letter as no excuse will be entertained.

Repeat National Convention: Face off with Police We are on top of the matter - PDP

In light of the situation playing out at the National stadium,  Port-Harcourt, Rivers State due to the scheduled Repeat National Convention,  the leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP)  have issued a statement via its Facebook page asking that it's members should hold on as they are trying to resolve the matter with the Police. Heavily armed security officers have sealed the venue of the party’s convention, thus, preventing people from entering the premises. Boko Haram Ambush Military Escort

Today afternoon, suspected elements  of the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists who were foraging for food, ambushed troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE escorting commercial vehicles from Damboa to Maiduguri, at Sanda general area, Borno State. Unfortunately, 5 civilians lost their lives at the incident and another died on the way to the hospital. Three soldiers also sustained injuries. The wounded have been evacuated to Maiduguri. Consequently, another robust patrol team has been despatched to reinforce the troops, clear the general area and pursue the terrorists. This unfortunate incident has brought to the fore the need for more vigilance and cooperation amongst all.
